So says an angry Mannarthudi Jeyakrishnan about the two women in his life.
Radha is a smart, bold, college-going, distant relative of his. She had initially rebuffed his interests before slowly reconsidering her opinion.Clara was a extraordinarily intelligent and sensitive girl whom he met in the curious circumstance of initiating her into the flesh trade.Could they be more different?

கவிதானுபவம்

இன்றொரு சிற்றிதழில் ஒரு கவிதை படித்தேன்.
ஒத்துக்கொள்கிறேன். எனக்கு கவிதையைப் பற்றி ஒன்றும் தெரியாது.
தெரியாதவற்றைப் பற்றி வாயாடுவதில்லை என்று புத்தாண்டு சபதம், ஆதனால் என் கவிதானுபவத்தைப் பற்றி ஒன்றும் சொல்லப்போவதில்லை.

நல்ல கவிதைகள் அவற்றின் வாசகர்களை கண்டடையும் தன்மையுடையவை என்று சொல்லக்கேள்வி.

அதனால், அக்கவிதை, அதன் வாசகரை கண்டடையும் பொருட்டு இவ்விடம் இடுகிறேன்.

எங்கள் வீடு தனி வீடு. அடுக்குமாடி கட்டிடங்கள் சூழ மந்தைவெளியில் நாங்கள் மட்டும் தனியாக முறுக்கிக்கொண்டு நின்றோம். குடியிருப்பவர்களை விட வயதான வீட்டை இப்போதெல்லாம் சென்னையில் பார்க்க முடியுமா ?தகர்த்துவிட்டு அடுக்குமாடி குடியிருப்பாக்கி, எங்களுக்கும் இரண்டு வீடு தருவதாக ஒருவர் வந்து சொன்னார். அப்பா மறுத்துவிட்டார். முன்னொரு காலத்தில் அப்பாவின் கவிதைகள் எல்லாம் பிரசுரம் ஆகி இருக்கின்றன. அவரா தன்னை விட வயதான வீட்டை விற்பார் ? ஆனால் அப்படி ஒன்றும் வீட்டின்மேல் இஷ்டம் இருப்பதாக அவர் காட்டிக் கொண்டதில்லை. பிரியமா பழகிவிட்டதா ? (அம்மா மீது கூடத்தான்).
